The English part of this website serves the purpose of providing information to the potential international users of electronic signatures created by using Lithuanian national identity cards, Lithuanian civil servant ID cards or ID cards of Lithunanian internal affairs system officers. The English part of this website also provides information for the electronic residents of the Republic of Lithuania (e. residents) about how to use electronic identification and electronic signature means issued to them. The electronic signatures created using the aforesaid identity cards, as well as e. resident electronic identification and electronic signature means, are supported by digital certificates issued by the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. The other pages of the English part of this website provide legal information like Certificate Policies and Certification Practice Statement of the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre, user guides, the tools necessary to validate the aforesaid certificates, and the software for e. resident electronic identification and electronic signature means.

10-08-2023 The Communication Regulatory Authority of the Republic of Lithuania has confirmed a qualified trust service provider status of the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania and conformity of the trust services provided by the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre to requirements of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014. The qualified trust service provider status and the conformity of trust services to requirements of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 were granted on the basis of deliverables of conformity assessment performed on February 2023 by conformity assessment body QSCert, s r.o. - conformity assessment report and the certificate of conformity.

29-05-2023 An advance information to parties relying on certificates issued by the Identity Documents Personalisation Centre under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania. The Identity Documents Personalisation Centre has initiated a new certification authority ADIC CA ECC which will begin to be used for signing the end entity certificates after the Communication Regulation Authority of the Republic of Lithuania publishes the certificate in the Lithuanian Trusted List.
